Sitar and Tabla Evening on 7th Nov 2013
Namaste, Pleasure to welcome you to Sitar and Tabla Evening at Telakka, Tampere, Finland. Presenting a confluence of two Sitars and Tabla on 7th November 2013 at 9.00 PM. This venue happens to be one of best acoustics in Finland.
Sitar is a melodious String Instrument from Hindusthani classical Music. Lari Aaltonen and Anetro Mentu planning to explore Raag Yaman, on Sitar, in 10 bit Cycle of Taal Jhaptaal and progressing to 16 bit cycle of Taal Teentaal. These two Sitar Heroes are accompanied by Ajey Gotkhindikar on Tabla.
This event is part of Etnosoi Festival at Tampere.

Welcome all for a soothing Sitar and Tabla Concert on 7th June 2013, at Ravintola Artturi, at 10 PM. Antero Mentu presenting his performance on Sitar joined by Ajey Gotkhindikar on Tabla.
Wonderful opportunity to listen to Antero Mentu, exploring variations in Raag Charukeshi (played in 10 bit cycle of Taal Jhaptal) and Antero's experiment of a soulful Finnish Classical Tune on Sitar (played in 7 bit cycle of Taal Rupak). Antero is accompanied on Tabla by Ajey Gotkhindikar.
This event is part of Roma Café evening and other artists are Tumma sävel (9pm) and CaféRoma (11pm), at this beautiful City of Tampere.

Indian Classical Music at Kid's Cultural Center, Tampere, on 9th Nov 2011
Namaste, Very glad to share with you that, Indian Classical Music coming to meet you in a very interesting form ! Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet getting unfolded in a combination of story telling on the life 16th Century Sangeet Exponent from India, playing instruments, singing, clapping based on rhythmic cycles, singing syllables of Musical Instruments and have fun learning / listening to Music !
Theme of this concert is Kids !
Come and enjoy this interesting concert organized by Kid's Cultural Center in Tampere, named Rulla. This is in Finlayson area at City Center.

Indian Classical Music Evening with Sitar and Tabla at Tampere on 4th August 2011
Namaste, Pleasure to welcome you to Indian Classical Music Evening at Cafe Soolo, Tampere Talo (www.tampere-talo.fi). Presenting a confluence of Sitar and Tabla on 4th August 2011 at 7.30 PM.
Sitar is a melodious String Instrument from Hindusthani classical Music. Anetro Mentu planning to explore Raag Yaman with Aalap-Jod, progressing to Madhya Laya (medium pace) and Drut Laya (fast pace) in 10 bit Cycle of Taal Jhaptaal. Finale of this composition is played in Drut Laya (fast pace) in 12 bit Cycle of Taal Ektaal. While Raag is a Soulful Tonal Cylce arranged as per time of the day and mood of mind, Taal is rhythmic cycle having combination of number of bits, accompanied on percussion instrument. Antero has learned Sitar from Pandit Sanjay Guha and he is planning to explore beauty of Raag Yaman. Antero is accompanied by Ajey Gotkhindikar on Tabla. Ajey is student of Shri Kamalakar Ji Joshi, from Nashik, a town in state of Maharashtra, India.
Cafe Soolo, at Tampere Talo, offers wonderful ambiance which has a capacity of 60 people and has a beautiful extended terrace accommodating 100 people. Come and enjoy wonderful eveing with Indian Classical Music at this place.
